Back to School Project

"Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world'- Nelson Mandela.

In many African countries including Nigeria, Ghana and Cote d'Ivoire, public school education is free through the Universal Basic Education program of the government. Nonetheless, other mandatory associated fees and the cost of school supplies take their toll on poor pupils (especially girls), prompting them to seek alternatives means of raising funds if they must remain in school.

Our goal is to provide 1000 school uniforms to girls in need every school year through the generosity of our sponsors and partners. In addition, school supplies will be provided to children in public schools. Access to the right resources at the right time ensures that children are appropriately empowered to maximize their potential and fulfil their dreams.

Educational Scholarship

If you can dream it, you can achieve it- Zig Ziglar

At Great Dreamers Haven Foundation, we are committed to the education of the under-served children especially the girl child who is most vulnerable to undesirable circumstances beyond her control. Every year, we provide educational sponsorship to eligible school-aged girls across the continent through the support of our generous donors and sponsors.

This is no easy feat, but through cooperation and community empowerment we believe we can facilitate progress in this area. We are always striving to make a difference, and invite you to learn more and lend your support.

To be eligible for a sponsorship opportunity, applicants must fulfil the following requirements:

1.  Must be a girl in a primary, secondary or tertiary institution

2. Must be nominated or recommended by a non-profit organization

3. Must submit an application form

Mentorship Program

“A mentor is someone who allows you to see the hope inside yourself.” — Oprah Winfrey

We can help others to be themselves by our own willingness to steep ourselves temporarily in their world, in their private feelings and experiences. By our affirmation of the persons, as they are, we give them support and strength to take the next step in their own growth. (edited version)  - Clark Moustakas

Through the mentorship program, our goal is to match students with the right business professionals who would support them in their quest to fulfil their dream careers and professions.
